Is it a collar or a scarf? I'm not sure, but it sure blocks the wind! This tippet's sides are worked separately, and seamed up the back. For extra warmth, an opitional silk lining can be added. Closes with a hook and eye.

Opera Hood with Knit Border

This hood has three pieces, the crown, main body, and the curtain. The look is completed with a knit garter that has ermine dots sewed on, corded tassels and a silk bow. Hood closes with a hook and eye under the chin. Pattern originally featured in Peterson's 1858.
